This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Bob Marlin Restaurant website. In some pages, you can fill out a venue booking form and leave a comment using your social media account (e.g. Facebook).

On the venue booking form, the following are the types of personal information we collect:

  • Email Address
  • Phone Number

In every page where there is a Facebook commenting facility , you will need to log in to leave a comment. In this case, we are privy to the bare minimum information that Facebook makes available to us in our Facebook insights tool.

The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when submitting a venue booking form to complete your request. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to process your request.

We use the information you provide about yourself when leaving a comment to personalize our responses to your comments/feedback/questions/requests. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to answer queries or to complete any requests (if any).

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to improve the experience of our website visitors. For example, we may disclose to our web designer that X number of individuals use a computer monitor with a certain screen resolution; we may also disclose to our business analyst that Y number of men as opposed to Z number of women submit inspection requests. However, we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify any of the individuals included in the aggregate data.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
